PART-2: THE LAST 10 OF 20 THINGS EVERYONE MUST KNOW IN THEIR 20'S

As I have already written about the first 10 of 20 things everyone must know in their 20's in the previous blog post, I will be writing the remaining 10 things that one must be aware of to learn, reflect and become more authentic. If you haven't read the first 10 things, you may click here to read them.

11.PROTECT YOUR PEACE- Your peace is in your hands. You don't have to be a part of every argument or conflict to waste your time, peace and energy. Sometimes its better to take a backseat and avoid all the dramas.

12.STOP SEEKING APPROVAL FROM OTHERS- When its about your authenticity and inner peace, you really don't need approval from anyone. You should work for your dreams and desires. You are an individual and a little shift in your mindset for your goals and passions can be incredibly liberating. Stop seeking external validation.

13.EAT AND EXERCISE- Its important to adapt a healthy lifestyle in a young age to not face complications and regret later on. Eat healthy, try experimenting with food that can be tasty and healthy at the same time. Indulge in at least one physical exercise regularly that can be anything- dancing, yoga, playing a sport, Zumba, aerobics or simply hitting a gym. Maintaining yourself externally and internally can be a fantastic way to let your overall well-being thrive.

14.PRACTICE MINDFULNESS- Incorporating mindfulness in your daily routine can add wonders to your life. People who started doing it early experienced greater peace, clarity and effectiveness in their lives. Meditation & deep breathing are powerful and magical tools available to you and can be utilized in your 20's or even earlier to gain maximum benefits from them.

15.NO GOAL IS UNACHIEVABLE- No goal is unachievable if you believe in your hard-work, smart-work and actually start working towards it. Its your determination and commitment that can make the goal achievable. You just have to break a big goal in small milestones and start working towards them step by step. Don't lose your trust and don't exert yourself in the process.

16.TAKE HELP WHEN IN NEED- Don't be afraid to reach out. Taking help in the midway is better than doing things wrong on repeat and not getting anywhere. Its completely okay to take help and support from anyone who can make a big difference in your life. Remember, reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength, providing you with fresh perspective, skill or experience that can help you to grow.

17.LEARN TO SAY NO- Never feel guilty while setting boundaries and politely declining requests by saying NO. You don't owe any explanation to protect your time and energy. It can be challenging but its pretty crucial skill to live a more authentic life.

18.IT'S OKAY TO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING FOR YOUR SANITY- Let go of things that you know will mess with your mind. Its quite okay to not know everything and once you accept this, it can be liberating. Embracing the unknown can be powerful to maintain your mental health.

19.STOP BEING A PEOPLE PLEASER- Break free from the need for validation. You can't keep everyone happy, so stop trying. Refrain from unnecessary apologies, chasing people for approval, and being 'good' with a heavy heart. When you're genuinely happy about something, your actions will reflect it naturally – no need for formalities.

20.SPEND TIME WITH YOURSELF WITHOUT GUILT- Being alone or being single doesn't mean you are behind, its just you have your own timeline to follow and you are doing just that. Its not a reflection of one's worth or progress in life rather its all about cuddling your journey and valuing your solitude. Focusing on your overall development is extremely important rather measuring yourself against societal expectations.

So, if you are in your 20's these things will definitely make you look at your life in a different way from now on, only and only if you start to work on at least one of these from today. And if you are in your 30's or above, these points will make you aware more of the things you already know with a deeper understanding and better clarity of yourself and your place in the world.
